In Marni Gillards peice The High Dive I liked that she stretched out words because it really gave her a voice "I got back in line, all shiiiiiiivery. Red, white and blue toy soldiers marched across the elasticized front of my suit." In My Artistic Journey with HIGH DIVE I liked that she put fourth a sense of experience "I learned that the art of storytelling means letting the audience co-create with you. I had felt particular audiences affect the way I told a fairytale, but this first personal tale really awakened me to improvisation." I liked the whole chapter and wouldnt get rid of anything. She does a very good job of explaining each reflection and how its shaped the story today and getting rid of any section could leave unexplained gaps. She clearly has told this story enough to memorize some of the words and feelings and this makes the story seem very real although she may have stretched the truth a bit on some parts. Overall it was an iteresting thing to read and then read the authors thoughts about it all.
